Richi Seike, a veteran Japanese action actor and suit performer best known to Brazilian fans for portraying Jupiter in Cybercop: The Future Cops (1988), passed away on June 17, 2026.

The news was shared by fellow actor Takashi Kora, who played Lucifer in Cybercop. In a tribute posted on social media, Kora remembered Seike as a kind-hearted colleague and praised his memorable performance as Jupiter, one of the series’ most recognizable heroes.
A member of the 14th generation of the Japan Action Club (JAC), now known as Japan Action Enterprise (JAE), Seike began his tokusatsu career in Dengeki Sentai Changeman (1985). Over the following four decades, he built an extensive career in Japan’s action and special-effects entertainment industry.

Among his most notable roles was Shadow Moon in Kamen Rider Black (1987), a character that remains highly regarded among tokusatsu fans. Throughout his career, Seike also portrayed numerous heroes, villains, and stunt characters across several Super Sentai productions, showcasing his versatility as both an actor and suit performer.
For many fans in Brazil and around the world, Richi Seike will be remembered for the energy, dedication, and passion he brought to the genre. His contributions helped shape some of the most beloved tokusatsu productions of the 1980s and beyond.
